Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Mother's day is a special occasion never to be missed. Earlier this week, in light of Mother's day, "Pinoy Big Brother" alumna Karen Reyes dropped a big revelation on her vlog. Karen confirmed the suspicions that have long riddled the minds of the public: she's already a mother of two babies to Sarkie Sarangay!
Sarkie is the vocalist of Silent Sanctuary. It was way back in 2017 when Sarkie and Karen were rumored to be going out. Three years later, only now did Karen finally admitted that they already have two sons. On her latest vlog, Karen shared this news exactly during Mother's day.
"Natakot ako kaya hindi ko nasabi agad. Natakot ako dahil hindi ko alam kung tatanggapin ba ako ng mga tao, kung may babalikan pa ako sa showbiz. Sobrang hindi ko alam nun kung ano yung gagawin ko. Natakot ako sa judgments."
In spite of their 14-year age gap, the "Pinoy Big Brother" alumna claimed that it has never been an issue for them. While the Silent Sanctuary vocalist is 14 years her senior, Karen claimed that age is just a number in their relationship. As a matter of fact, it has been an advantage since they don't fight over petty things.
On the other hand, it was way back in 2018 when rumors spread that Karen already has a baby. She temporarily left the hit series "Asintado" to give birth. A few months later, photos of her baby's baptismal made rounds on social media, which confirmed her fans' suspicions that she has already given birth.
As expected, many fans were delighted that Karen has finally come to light with her motherhood. Being a mother is not an embarrassment, in fact, it's the noblest profession in the world. Congrats, Karen and Sarkie!
